Blackie Collins Knives - Gerber Frisco Shiv - Factory Mistake?Sample? Green?

This is a Gerber Frisco Shiv knife designed by Blackie Collins. I can not find another green one like it. Also this one the blade has never had a factory edge put on it. Could it be a mistake? Possibly. Could it be a factory sample? Possibly. I'm not sure, but it is a great quality knife, and would be awesome in someone's collection!
